We recommend visiting the dentist every six months for routine cleanings and examinations. However, some patients may need more frequent visits depending on their oral health needs. Dr. Gilbert will work with you to determine the best schedule for your individual situation.
Your first visit includes a comprehensive examination, digital X-rays if needed, and a discussion about your dental history and goals. We'll take time to understand your concerns and create a personalized treatment plan. The visit typically lasts 60-90 minutes.
Yes! We provide dental care for the whole family. We recommend bringing children for their first dental visit by age one or within six months of their first tooth appearing. We create a fun, comfortable environment to help children develop positive associations with dental care.
We understand that many patients experience dental anxiety. Our team is trained to provide gentle, compassionate care. We'll explain every procedure, go at your pace, and offer comfort measures to help you feel relaxed. Please let us know about your concerns so we can accommodate your needs.
Call our office immediately at (205) 978-6700. We offer same-day appointments for dental emergencies. Common emergencies include severe tooth pain, broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, and dental abscesses. If it's after hours, leave a message and we'll contact you first thing in the morning.
Insurance &Payment
We are considered an "in-network" provider for most dental plans and most PPO plans. We are happy to file insurance for any "out of network" patients, but do require our payment up front.
We accept credit and debit cards from all major issuers (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), as well as Cherry financing. We also accept cash, personal checks, HSA and FSA cards.
We allow cancellations up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Just call our office at (205) 978-6700 and our Patient Care Coordinator will assist you! There's no cancellation fee with proper notice. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee, but we understand emergencies happen - please call as soon as possible.
FindingOur Office
Our office is off Highway 31 on Laurel Road behind the Synovus Bank. We are on the second floor and have access via stairs or elevator.
