MeetDr. Brittney W. Gilbert

ProfessionalBackground
Dr. Gilbert was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Mountain Brook High School (Class of 2004) and then graduated from Auburn University in 2008 with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Spanish. Dr. Gilbert then attended dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry from 2008-2012. She has practiced general dentistry in the Birmingham area since her graduation in 2012.
She met Dr. Cathey G. Davis in 2015 and they both will tell you; God brought them together for a great practice transition that allowed Dr. Gilbert to purchase the practice in 2017.
Family & Community
Dr. Gilbert is married to her husband, Patrick Gilbert, and they have four precious children, Nolan, Emory and twin boys, James and Mason. Patrick is also a small business owner and runs Wedgworth Construction, a local custom home building company in Vestavia Hills and surrounding areas. They live in Cahaba Heights and truly enjoy their community.
She and her family are members of The Church at Brook Hills and love the local and global church. Dr. Gilbert has been on multiple mission trips, both local and international, some of which have been dental specific.
Service & Interests
Currently, Dr. Gilbert serves on the Alabama State Board with Lifeline Children's Services and is a member of the Vestavia Chamber of Commerce. Some of her favorite hobbies include arranging flowers, being at the beach, and reading.
She loves people and fully believes the Lord brought her into dentistry to care for her patients in the specific way of helping to promote excellent oral health care.
